PAGE 3--REPATTERNING: USING PAST LIVES TO CHANGE THIS ONE

PAGE 3: REPATTERNING. Using "Other Lifetimes" to Change this one.

I was first introduced to the idea of repatterning my   other lifetimes through the book, Past Lives; Present Dreams, by Denise Linn. The title has been changed a bit now, but I believe this is the same book:  Past Lives; Present Miracles

I used her method as she presented it in her book, for sometime, but eventually evolved a slightly different way of approaching other lifetimes that I believe is important for the spiritual seeker. I call it not "repatterning", but "CHOICE POINT OBSERVATION." The attitude I've settled on at this point in my spiritual evolution is that I want to, not repattern that past life, but to study it for the choice points  where I, in that lifetime, made a decision that took me away from vibrational resonance with my Inner Being. At that point I was not following my intuition, which is my inner guidance through my emotions that are sent from my Inner Being.

It's sort of like the old "Star Trek" philosophy of the "Prime Directive" for all Star Fleet explorers:

Paraphrased:
"Do not try to influence any alien civilization or individual."

As in physics though, even observation affects that which is observed. So be extremely respectful and harmless. Do not try to change that past life. That is my best advice.

There is also the medical Hippocratic oath, "Above all, do no harm." Of course doctors have done a great deal of harm in the past with bizarre healing methods, and this continues today. Future healing philosophy and procedures will be extremely different from what is extant today. So, even when we are well-intentioned we still can inadvertantly do harm. But to deliberately and knowingly do harm does much more harm to the self than to the object of the unwanted attentions.

When we visit another of our lifetimes we are, in effect, visiting an alien world and culture. It is a living thing--in it's own sacrosanct process of continuing development-- and that "probable-self" in that "probable life" needs to be allowed their own choices. However, by respectfully observing the life, we can learn what it was about and we can identify the significant choice point or points.

The thing to do is to come out of trance at the end of the first observation of the life. From an awake state we can discuss the life with a friend or write it down in our journal. Then we can return to a trance state and seek that pesky choice point. Once identified we can ask to see some better choice. That way we are beginning a new movie--as it were--based on a better choice. In doing this we are allowing our Inner Being to guide us to what better choices might have been made. And this new vision of the other life does unfold like a movie--just as the first viewing of the other life did.

It's quite thrilling to see the new movie unfold based on the insights given by Inner Being. [See my short stories entitled "Masai Chieftain" and "A Feudal Serf" for examples of successful "Choice Point Observation."]

I am not sure exactly how this affects my current lifetime, but at the very least it serves a s a tool for the times when I feel I am in a corner, and hating it, or scared to death, and I can know that through my Inner Being I can know a better way to deal with what is confronting me. The creativity of Inner Beings is boundless and breathtaking. Besides that I assume that there are more subtle influences that come into play to improve the present life because I was able to see a better way in the past.

In the cases where I made an unhappy choice, I moved away from my optimal path. I don't wish to suggest that there is only one path, or a carved-in-stone-destiny. Inner Being always has an in-the-moment-option or opportunity for us that is different from any before. Also, I don't wish to suggest that we do not have free will--we do.

On the plane above, or deeper within, our Inner Being exists upon, they practice a thing called "Allowing Everything." We on the Earth Plane in physical reality and in our soul-personality-self have the freedom to do anything--and Inner Being fully allows it. And we are meant to fully allow it as well--but that is best done after we have noted the consequences of our choice. Did they feel "off" or "on."? We are wise to courageously face the consequences of our choices. These consequences--nice ones if we move towards vibrational alignment with our Inner Being; and negative ones if we are moving away from or out of vibrational alignment with our Inner Being are our spiritual gold. By our Inner Being allowing us to try anything, we garner spiritual gold in the process. We become empowered by viscerally experiencing the results of our choices. Our choices are extremely powerful and shape not only our own lives...but worlds... I am told. This gold is the only kind you can take with you from lifetime to lifetime, and from spiritual plane to spiritual plane.

Good choices are easy to make really. First one "Allows Everything" to their Inner  Being--so you know you are never alone and IB has your back. You can ask for anything you need and you will get it in some form or other. Allowing that at the very least you will get the spiritual essence of your request is helpful. But often times it also comes in the symbolic form--material form--that we are so addicted to here on Earth, in this age. And we are meant to have the symbolic, physical, materialization of our positive spiritual requests. It's fun! And conversely the negative materializations really suck big time. But they are  meant to be composted for future growth. Allow it was garbage, and put it in a hole in Mother Earth --the materialization of your Inner Being.

As we are going along in life, rejecting this and asking for that, we can know what is aligned and what isn't. Very simply, to tell if something is aligned with Inner Being or not, one turns inward and examines and feels one's emotions objectively, honestly and  courageously. Choices that will move us towards Inner Being feel "on;" and away feels "off." So during a "Choice Point Observation" Inner Being will be guiding you to an excellent path that you could have chosen--one that could have led to a happy fulfilled life in that other life. And IB will be whispering to you, through your feelings, and symbols and dreams how to utilize this information in your current life. So fine tuning to Inner Being is GOOD! In fact it's the only way to go if you want to be happy.
